Coach Stats is operated by Ciaran Dagen, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

This app is used primarily in the United Kingdom and Ireland. UK GDPR applies. Where users are based in Ireland, EU GDPR also applies and the same protections are provided.
Account data: Your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase — passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text).
Match data: Match records you create including team names, scores, events, player names, notes and statistics. This data belongs to you.
Squad data: Player names, positions, attendance records, training notes, skill ratings, injury logs and availability you enter.
Wellness data: Player self-reported wellness scores submitted via the shared wellness link feature.
Payment data: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
Usage data: We do not use analytics tools or track your behaviour within the app beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS). Supabase is SOC 2 Type 2 certified. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

If you use the wellness self-report feature, you share a link with your players. Players voluntarily submit their name and wellness scores. This data is stored in your account and visible only to you as the coach. Players should be informed before using this feature that their wellness data is being collected and stored.

You can also delete your account directly within the app at any time — this permanently removes all your data.
Coach Stats is a Progressive Web App. We use browser localStorage to store your match data and preferences on your device. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party cookies.
Coach Stats is intended for coaches and managers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Player names entered by coaches may include underage players — this data is stored under the coach's account and is the coach's responsibility to manage appropriately.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email if we make significant changes. The latest version is always available at coachstats.app/privacy.
